Elon,
I'm just a regular guy. No blue checks. No verified profiles. A middle-class guy working hard just to keep my family from falling out of the middle class.
(EDIT: I just purchased the blue check in response to a well-written X post explaining that a paid verification was a show of support for free speech. Money well spent.)
My petition to you, Elon, is one that would help save the middle class from extinction. It would strengthen the economy by helping to create and grow businesses — owned by individuals, not Private Equity firms. We, the middle class, need a hero. Someone at the apex of success that isn't solely driven by the almighty dollar. You've proven that you will use, arguably, excessive amounts of money for freedom - the protection of freedom. We need a guy like you to support more ideas like the one I'm presenting.
My background is in private capital financing. This industry is riddled with predatory practices hidden within multi-page agreement contracts. Few companies do what's right for the customer.
My petition to you: Fund the creation of a private capital lending company that condemns predatory practices, loosens underwriting criteria, and looks out for the best interest of its borrowers. This lending company wouldn't be limited to working with SMB's, but small and mid-size businesses would be the priority — as they are the backbone of the middle class in this amazing country. I have a team of experienced individuals that would assemble at a moment’s notice if you were to answer this petition. Not only would this create my American Dream but would ensure the American Dream for countless others across the country.
An added facet to this endeavor would be documenting, via X.com, the success stories created. The large majority of us are NOT looking for a handout, but a hand up. We have ideas and dreams that just need a little capital to get started. Be the difference maker and capitalize this lending company that will change the landscape of the middle class.
